Faces of Nungwi, Zanzibar (Tanzania)

Nungwi is the north part of the Island, where are many resorts and great places around for diving and snorkelling.

There are also small fishing villages, where a simple walk becomes a pretty nice experience.

Although the majority of Zanzibar's inhabitants are Muslin, the island has a history of respect and tolerance for other religions, resulting in a colourful calendar of religious occasions and cultural festivals throughout the year.
