The best way to say goodbye to Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh, December 2012)
The best way to say goodbye to Vietnam is learning how to cook the Vietnamese delicious food.
I can say that the most interesting thing in Vietnam was the food.
I have felt that people are rude (specially from the north to the center of Vietnam), I couldn't realize if they are still a little bit blocked by the strong war they lived. It can be a reason...
Since I arrived, I have heard about SAIGON COOKING CLASS, in Ho Chi Minh City and I didn't think twice. After being 3 weeks traveling around the country and seeing a lot of highlights, it would be the best choice.
Every day they have a different menu for teaching us.

The class has small size, that helps us to get great results. I had a good luck, as we were only 3 participants. And the equipments are really organized and clean, so everyone can be a cook.

I could realize that the knife makes all the difference. If you are in holidays (not traveling around for a long time as me), be prepared to buy a knife there. I am sure that it will make you a Chef.

Since you have finished a step, you enjoy it with your colleagues and the Chef, with a great asian fresh tea.

It was like cooking an omelet, for me |
And I did great. The Chef was proud of me because my crispy pancake was the best of the class, even the Chef's one.

If you stay at least 2 days in Ho Chi Minh City and you enjoy the Vietnamese exotic and delicious food, I recommend you the Saigon Cooking Class experience. Even if you think that you can not do anything at the kitchen. Maybe it´s your time to start, right?
